Delisted Jordan from the list of allowed countries to import live animals which include cloven-hoofed animals (goats and sheep currently) until a consensus on the following conditions apply: a- Isolate animals for not less than 21 days prior to shipment, under the supervision of the governmental veterinary authority; b- All animals in isolation were subjected to diagnostic tests (by 3ABC ELISA) for checking of FMD infection from 7 to 14 days prior to shipment with a negative results; c- Include all the above procedures in the health certificate accompanying with the imported animals from Jordan; 2. Temporary ban on the importation of live animals which include cloven-hoofed animals (goats and sheep currently) and their untreated by-product from Jordan.
