Description
The United Arab Emirates is lifting the ban on the importation of domestic and wild birds and their products including poultry meat, day-old chicks and eggs originating from Flevoland in Netherlands. This follows the publishing of the Final report (Follow-up report No. 7) of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in Netherlands on 16 May 2017, and in compliance with Article 10.4.4, Chapter 10.4 of the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code, Flevoland in Netherlands is now free from Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza disease. The risk of contamination from importing poultry and poultry products from Flevoland in Netherlands is negligible now.
