This draft resolution proposes the inclusion of active ingredient  F78 - FLORYLPICOXAMIDE on the Monograph List of Active Ingredients for Pesticides, Household Cleaning Products and Wood Preservatives, which was published by Normative Instruction 103 on 19 October 2021 in the Brazilian Official Gazette (DOU - Diário Oficial da União).

This draft resolution contains provisions on the general principles, technological functions and conditions of use of food additives and food technology adjuvants.This draft resolution aims to establish a maximum residue limit of ethylene oxide (EO) of 0.01 mg/Kg for certain food additives.

The draft of the Ordinance that revokes Normative Instruction No. 49/2018, which establishes norms, criteria and standards for the importation and quarantine of ornamental birds and eggs for hatching birds ornamentals, and for the accreditation of a quarantine establishment for ornamental birds and hatching eggs for ornamental birds, is opened for public consultation, for a period of 60 days.

This normative instruction establishes daily intake acceptable (ADI), the acute reference dose (ADR) and the maximum residue limits (MRL) for active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) of veterinary drugs in food of animal origin.

Approves the procedures for the transit and sanitary certification of inedible animal by-products for industrial or technical use, the transit of residues from livestock exploitation and the sanitary certification of products obtained from animal sources with specific purposes of use.

Public consultation. The phytosanitary requirements for the importation of seeds (Category 4) of eggplant (Solanum melongena) from any origin.

Zoo-health requirements for importing giraffes.Certificates already bilaterally agreed with countries will remain in effect for up to 60 days after notification.

Draft. The phytosanitary requirements for the importation of propagative material (Category 4) of Dianthus spp. from any origin are established. Dianthus spp. seedlings must be accompanied by a Phytosanitary Certificate, issued by the National Plant Protection Organization - NPPO of the country of origin, with the Additional Declarations.

Draft Resolution 1150, 10 March 2023 - previously notified through  G/SPS/N/BRA/2144 - was adopted as Normative Instruction 240, 1 August 2023. This ordinance authorizes the import of seed potato (Solanum Tuberosum) from Chile. The ORDINANCE SDA No. 807 of 22 May 2023, which suspends imports of seed potatoes (Solanum tuberosum) from Chile, was revoked.

Draft Resolution 1155, 6 April 2023 - previously notified through   G/SPS/N/BRA/2154  - was adopted as Normative Instruction 234, 1 August 2023. Draft Resolution that proposes amendments to Normative Instruction 211, 1 March 2023, establishing technological functions, maximum limits, and conditions of use for food additives.

Draft Resolution 1060, 27 April 2023 - previously notified through  G/SPS/N/BRA/2160 - was adopted as Normative Instruction 236, 1 August 2023. The regulation includes the active ingredient T75 - Trichoderma reesei on the Monograph List of Active Ingredients for Pesticides, Household Cleaning Products, and Wood Preservatives.
