The OIE reported an outbreak of lumpy skin disease in Malaysia. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of lumpy skin disease into the country. By virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558, the importation of bovine and buffalo and their products under Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015) from Malaysia is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (10 May 2022).

By virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558, the importation of bovine and buffalo and their products under Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015) from Cambodia is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (28 April 2022).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 9 February 2022, the suspension for the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from India since 11 February 2022,has expired on 11 May 2022. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in areas of India. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from India has been temporarily suspended for 90 days from 12 May 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 31 January 2022, the suspension for the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Italy expired on 1 May 2022. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in areas of Italy. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Italy has been temporarily suspended for 90 days from 2 May 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 31 January 2022, the suspension for the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from France expired on 1 May 2022. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the departments of Landes, Gers, and Pyrénées-Atlantiques in France. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Landes, Gers, and Pyrénées-Atlantiques in France has been temporarily suspended for 90 days from 2 May 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement in the Government Gazette dated 24 January 2022, the suspension for the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from France expired on 24 April 2022. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the Department of Nord in France. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from the Department of Nord in France is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days from 25 April 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 17 January 2022, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from South Africa has expired on 16 April 2022. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the area of South Africa. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from  South Africa is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days notified since 17 April  2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

However, the OIE reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the area of Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Indonesia is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days notified since 17 April 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Viet Nam is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days notified since 17 April 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Romania is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after the date of publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (24 March 2022).

The OIE has reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the Province of Pampanga and in the Province of Bulacan in the Philippines. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from the Philippines is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after date of publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (31 March 2022).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 23 December 2021, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Hungary has expired on 23 March 2022. However, the OIE reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the area of Hungary. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Bacs-Kiskun, Békés and Csongrád in Hungary is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 24 March 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 23 December 2021, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from the United Kingdom has expired on 23 March 2022. However, the OIE reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the area of the United Kingdom. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from North Yorkshire, Cumbria and Cheshire in the United Kingdom is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 24 March 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

Since the MOPH notification No. 409 (B.E. 2562) issued by virtue of the Food Act B.E. 2522 entitled "Enzyme for use in Food Processing" has been published, there are certain ambiguities in the application of this notification. In order to remove these ambiguities, the MOPH notification shall be revised.By virtue of the articles 5 and 6(6) of the Food Act of B.E. 2522, the MOPH has issued the (draft) MOPH notification which can be summarized as follows:1. The MOPH notification No. 409 (B.E. 2562) issued by virtue of the Food Act B.E. 2522 entitled "Enzyme for use in Food Processing" of 9 July will be repealed and replaced with this draft of MOPH notification;2. Based on the MOPH notification No. 409 (B.E. 2562), there are certain requirements that are currently prescribed in this draft of the MOPH notification:2.1. Requirements regarding mycotoxin and novel DNA are added to the general specification for food enzyme:In case of food enzyme originated from fungi, mycotoxin should not be detected;In case of food enzyme originated from genetically modified organisms, novel DNA or gene materials which are the results of the use of gene technology shall not be detectable;2.2. A material which is used for immobilized enzyme shall not release toxic substances into food by reference to the migration limit set out in the MOPH notification on plastic food packaging;2.3. Enzymes, source of enzymes, functions and conditions of use are revised as appear in Annex I;2.4. Silicon dioxide, D-glucitol syrup and sorbitol syrup are added to Annex IV, food additive used in enzyme preparation;2.5. Enzymes used in the production of food additives and production of processing aids are also excluded from this draft of the MOPH notification;3. This notification shall enter into force after the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.This regulation has been notified as TBT notification.

Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from the Netherlands is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 9 March 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 8 December 2021, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from India has expired on 7 March 2022. However, the OIE reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the area of India. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from India is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 8 March 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the detection of White Spot Syndrome Virus (WSSV), Infectious Hypodermal and Hematopoietic Necrosis Virus (IHHNV), and Yellow Head Virus (YHV) in frozen marine shrimp imported from Ecuador, the Department of Livestock Development announced in the Government Gazette dated 16 December 2021, the suspension for the importation of live prawns and prawn carcasses (including Penaeus vannamei, P. monodon, and P. stylirostris) from Ecuador has expired on 16 March 2022. In addition, regarding the evaluation of the disease control system of Ecuador for frozen marine shrimps exported to Thailand, Ecuador has not responded to the Department of Fisheries' suggestion yet. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of White Spot Syndrome Virus (WSSV), Infectious Hypodermal and Hematopoietic Necrosis Virus (IHHNV), and Yellow Head Virus (YHV) into the country. By virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live prawns and prawn carcasses (including Penaeus vannamei, P. monodon and P. stylirostris) from Ecuador is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 17 March 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Poland is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 9 March 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 16 December 2021, the suspension for importation of live prawns and prawn carcasses (including Penaeus vannameiP. monodon and P. stylirostris) from Madagascar has expired on 16 March 2022. However, the results of the investigation and corrective action plan from Madagascar have not been received. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Infectious Hypodermal and Hematopoietic Necrosis Virus (IHHNV) into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live prawns and prawn carcasses (including Penaeus vannameiP. monodon and P. stylirostris) from Madagascar is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 17 March 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.
