Morphological Features
Adults are 4–7 mm long, dark brown to blackish with gray or whitish patches, and have a characteristic curved snout (rostrum) about one-quarter to one-third of the body length. The elytra bear two prominent humps and two smaller humps. Antennae are bent and arise from the elongated snout. Larvae are legless, slightly curved, yellowish-white grubs with brown heads, 6–9 mm long. Pupae are white to cream-colored, 5–7 mm long, with two dark spots where the eyes will form. Eggs are white, elliptical, about 0.6 mm long.
