Morphological Features
Adult. The humeral calli (dorsoanterior sclerites of the thorax, appearing as 'shoulder pads' just posterior to the head) are typically entirely yellow. This character distinguishes B. neohumeralis from its sister species B. tryoni, which has brown humeral calli. The callus colour is continuously variable but vastly more common in its two extreme forms. No other morphological characters are described in the supplied evidence.
