Morphological Features
The nematodes are vermiform, translucent, with a linear body and a slightly ventral curvature. Females have a postvulval uterine sac approximately three-quarters of the vulva-anus distance and a tail ending in a finely rounded cone; body length is 1,620.8 ± 110.6 μm, body width 45.1 ± 9.0 μm, stylet length 10.9 ± 0.8 μm, and tail length 114.8 ± 18.3 μm, with a lateral field of six incisures. Males are more slender, with a narrower, pointed, rounded tail and curved, hook-shaped spicules (34.1 ± 4.2 μm long); the bursa extends to three-quarters of the tail length without reaching the tip; body length is 1,084.2 ± 124.0 μm, body width 29.6 ± 5.8 μm, stylet length 11.7 ± 0.6 μm, and tail length 74.8 ± 7.6 μm. The basal pharyngeal bulb overlaps dorsally with the intestine.
