Ferrisia virgata

Adult female body elongate oval, 2.10–4.48 mm long, 0.94–2.52 mm wide. Antenna 8-segmented, 480–640 µm long. Anal lobe cerarii each with 2–3 conical setae, 37–43 µm long, with 36–60 trilocular pores and 4–6 auxiliary setae. Body setae slender, 12–197 µm long, longest medially on head. Dorsum with enlarged tubular ducts totalling 69–122, each 30–35 µm long, 5.0–7.5 µm wide, rim sclerotised, 10–13 µm wide, surrounded by a sclerotised circular area 15–35 µm wide, usually enclosing 1–2 oval discoidal pores and 1–5 setae 12–35 µm long. Oral-collar tubular ducts on most of venter, each 10–13 µm long, 2.5–4 µm wide, totalling 53–95. Translucent pores present on hind legs, totalling 19–70 on coxa, femur and tibia combined. Anal ring 120–195 µm wide, with 6 setae 170–235 µm long. Each anterior ostiole with 22–28 trilocular pores and 7–11 setae; each posterior ostiole with 41–49 trilocular pores and 11–14 setae. Ratio of hind tibia+tarsus to hind trochanter+femur 1.03–1.14, hind tibia to tarsus 2.68–3.25, hind trochanter+femur length to greatest width 3.73–5.25.
