Morphological Features
Adult. Forewing length ca. 5–6 mm. Antenna very long, about 1/4 longer than forewing, thin, light brown unicoloured flagellomeres, without annulation. Head covered with smooth dirty white or brown scales; occiput with lateral bunches of very short piliform scales. Forewing long, narrow, equally wide along entire length, apex gently rounded, dark brown; wing pattern complex but geometrical: costal margin with a basal short white stripe, two strigulae on sub-base of costal margin meeting opposite strigulae on dorsal margin forming two narrow angulated fascia; apical part with a big bright yellow patch preceded by a silvery shining curved line; costal margin of preapical sector with five tiny stripes-spots; preterminal spot with silvery shining connection to dorsal margin. Fringe long on both sides of hindwing, slightly darker on costal side, lighter on dorsal margin. Fore tibia dark brown with two white patches (base and mid part). Hind tibia thickened with some erect scales, dark brown; hind tarsomere I slender with some erect piliform scales laterally, unicolourous brown; tarsomeres II–IV white with grey apical part; terminal tarsomere V white, tip light grey. Abdomen: terga I–II light brown with golden shine, terga III–V dark brown, terminal segments dark, almost black.
