Draft Technical Resolution nº 256, 23 September 2016 (Resolução RDC nº 256, de 23 de setembro de 2016), which changes the Ordinance SVS/MS n. 29, 13 January 1998, that approves the technical regulation regarding food for special purposes, in order to regulate food for diets with lactose restriction. The Department of Animal Products Inspection - DIPOA of Secretariat of Animal and Plant Health and Inspection - SDA/ Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply - MAPA established the categories of animal products to be adopted for foreign establishments interested in enable bovine, pork, equidae, poultry, fish, dairy, honey and eggs products for export to Brazil. Although the categories cover several types of products, only those, which have been defined in prior agreement on the equivalence assessment of sanitary inspection system conducted by DIPOA, will be authorized to export to Brazil.
