Morphological Features
Body bicoloured, mainly brown with anterior margin of pronotum yellow; all tarsi yellow and tibiae extensively yellow. Head brown. Pronotum with anterior area yellow but blotch brown, anterior area with transverse reticulation but no internal markings, blotch striate and bearing transverse row of setae. Mesonotum and metanotum brown. Fore wing with three dark and three pale bands, apex pale; clavus dark with brown setae; second vein without seta. Antennal segment I pale, II with brown shadings, III pale with brown base and apex, IV–V pale with apex brown; segments III and IV constricted to short apical neck; segments I and II brown, III–V yellowish with apical brown area more significant posteriorly, VI–VIII brown. Ocellar setae III situated outside ocellar triangle. Three pairs of postocular setae, median pair long and arising laterally. Tergite VIII with complete comb of microtrichia on posterior margin, VII with comb interrupted medially, no comb on remaining tergites; sternites fully covered with microtrichia, posterior margins with groups of long microtrichia between bases of marginal setae. Body with several brown setae with fringed, expanded apices, about 10 microns long medially and 20 microns laterally on thorax and abdominal tergites I–IV.
