Eudocima tyrannus is a moth of the family Erebidae first described by Achille Guen e in 1852. It is found in south-eastern Siberia, India, eastern China, the Philippines and Japan. The wingspan is about 95 mm.

Morphological Features

Forewing background color brownish, sharply pointed. Hindwing marginal band larger than in E. [other species]. Medial patch on hindwing comma-shaped, larger in northern populations (Amur, Japan) and smaller in southern populations (Nepal, Sichuan, Vietnam, Taiwan).
