Cryptophlebia ombrodelta, the litchi fruit moth or macadamia nut borer, is a moth of the family Tortricidae. The species was first described by Oswald Bertram Lower in 1898. It is native to India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Indonesia, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, western Malaysia, New Guinea, the Philippines, Japan, Guam, the Caroline Islands, Australia and has been introduced to Hawaii.

Morphological Features
Adults are reddish brown with a dark-brown pre-tornal spot that is more pronounced in females. Male forewing length 17.5–20.5 mm, body size 8.0–9.2 mm; female forewing length 20.5–24.5 mm, body size 8.4–10.1 mm. Males have sex scales on the hindwing, hind tibia, and abdomen. Late instar larvae are approximately 18.5–22.5 mm long, with a pinkish body; the head is dark brown, turning yellowish brown in the final instar; the abdomen is yellowish, turning reddish in the final instar.
