Leucinodes laisalis is a species of moth in the family Crambidae. It was described as Megaphysa laisalis by Francis Walker based on material collected in the Cape Province of South Africa. The wingspan is 20 C34 mm. The species exhibits sexual dimorphism, with females being somewhat larger. The forewing ground colour ranges from orange to grey brown.

Morphological Features
Adult. Forewing length 7.0–11.5 mm, females somewhat larger. Forewing ground colour orange-brown to grey-brown, with the general Sceliodes wing pattern; distinguished from most other Leucinodes by the orange-brown to greyish forewing colour, and from Leucinodes ethiopica by the generally darker forewing colour with less white. Tibial spurs 0, 2, 4, with outer spur 2/3 the length of inner spur. Older specimens often have darkened abdomen due to degeneration of abdominal fat body. Abdominal D1 pinacula often smaller than those of Leucinodes orbonalis and Leucinodes africensis, and lack dark spots or unpigmented areas.
