Department of Agriculture Memorandum Order No. 44, Series of 2022, Temporary Ban on the Importation of FMD-Susceptible Animals, their Products and By-products Origination from Indonesia

The Order, signed on 17 June 2022, institutes the following emergency measures for the importation of FMD-susceptible animals and their products from Indonesia: 1) Banning the importation of FMD-susceptible animals, their products and by-products;2) Immediate suspension of the processing, evaluation of the application and issuance of Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) import clearance for the above-stated commodities;3) All shipments coming from Indonesia that are IN TRANSIT/LOADED/ACCEPTED UNTO PORT before the official communication of this Order to the Indonesian authorities shall be allowed provided the products were slaughtered/produced before 29 March 2022.
