The Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan reports that in connection with the detection of human cases of monkeypox and in order to take precautions and prevent the introduction and spread of the disease on the territory of Kazakhstan, from 8 June 2022, temporary restrictions have been introduced on the importation to the territory of Kazakhstan and transit through the territory of Kazakhstan of all types of rodents (live and dead (for animal feed)) and all types of primates until the World Health Organization clarifies the sources of outbreaks and the spread of the above disease. In relation to the above goods shipped before 8 June 2022, the decision to let it go in the usual way.
