Kazakhstan notified in G/SPS/N/KAZ/41 (15 August 2019) the Letter of the Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the introduction of temporary restrictions on the importation into the territory of Kazakhstan from the State of Mato Grosso, Brazil of breeding and commercial cattle susceptible to bovine spongiform encephalopathy, as well as beef, including end products, non-edible raw materials and products obtained from cattle susceptible to bovine spongiform encephalopathy, as well as used equipment for the maintenance, slaughter, feed and feed additives food food-producing animals.The notified measure was modified by the Letter of the Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
