The notified Salvadoran Technical Regulation establishes requirements to safeguard genetic, agronomic and phytosanitary quality in the production, marketing and importation of nursery coffee (Coffea spp) plants from sexual and asexual seeds, as well as the certification process. It applies to natural and legal persons engaged in the production, certification, marketing and importation of nursery coffee (Coffea spp) plants from sexual and asexual seeds in the national territory. The provisions of this Salvadoran Technical Regulation do not apply to coffee plants imported for final planting.
