The Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan reports that an outbreak of African swine fever was registered in the counties of Vukovar-Srem, Osijeck-Baranj, Slavonski-Brod-Posavina, Sisack-Moslavina in Croatia. In this regard, since 21 December 2023, temporary restrictions have been introduced on the importation and transit (with the exception of the goods specified in article 15.1.2 of the Land Animal Health Code of the WOAH) to the territory of Kazakhstan from the counties of Vukovar-Srem, Osijeck-Baranj, Slavonski-Brod-Posavina, Sisack-Moslavina in Croatia of live pigs and boar semen, pork meat, including from wild boars, and its processed products that have not undergone heat treatment (at least 70 °C with at least 30 minutes), leather, horn and intestinal raw materials, bristles, hunting trophies obtained from susceptible animal species, feed and feed additives for animals of vegetable and animal origin, including poultry and fish, feed additives for cats and dogs that have not undergone heat treatment (at a temperature not lower than 70 °C with at least 30 minutes), used equipment for transporting pigs, products and raw materials of animal origin, keeping, slaughter and butchering of pigs.
