Description
Updates phytosanitary requirements for the import of papaya seeds (Carica papayaThis regulation is limited in validity until 27 August 2024, due to the fact that on 28 May 2024, the new requirements contained in Regulation SDA 996/2024 (G/SPS/N/BRA/2193/Add1) will enter into force.Seeds must be accompanied by a Phytosanitary Certificate, issued by the National Phytosanitary Protection Organization - ONPF of the country of origin.Authorized origins are China, Colombia, Japan and Chinese Taipei.
