Food (Colour Coding for Sugar Levels) Regulations 2016

These regulations on Food (Colour Coding for Sugar Levels) cover:
No person can sell, offer for sale, distribute or advertise:
a. Carbonated beverages,
b. Ready to serve beverages other than milk based products,
c. Fruit nectar,
d. Fruit juices.
Unless the container or the package is labelled with the following mandatory requirements:
a. A numerical description of the sugar content,
b. A description of the relative sugar level,
c. A colour code displayed in schedule II,
d. The diameter of the inner circle in logo specifies the colour relating to a particular sugar level should not be less than 1 cm.
