This Code of Good Aquaculture Practices (GAqP) for Finfishes covers practices that aim to prevent or minimize the risk associated with aquaculture production in fresh, brackish and marine waters. This Code covers the following aspects of aquaculture production namely: a) food safety; b) animal health and welfare; c) environmental integrity; and d) socio-economic.
