Draft Philippine National Standard on Code of Good Animal Husbandry Practices for Beef Cattle and Buffalo

This code sets out the general principles of good practice and minimum requirements in the commercial or backyard rearing/farming of animals for food use. The objective of this PNS was to revise the generic, multi-species PNS 60:2008 Code of Good Animal Husbandry Practices (GAHP) to species-specific GAHP in consideration of the directional thrust of the ASEAN towards species-specific GAHP. This revision is in accordance with the BAFS mission to ensure harmonization of local standards with that of international and regional standards.
