Risk Management Proposal: Proposed amendment to the IHS 155.02.05: Seeds for sowing and requirements for the importation of Pisum seeds for sowing

Proposed changes include:
1. Migrating all approved seed treatments from the IHS 155.02.05: Seeds for sowing to the technical standard MPI-STD-ABTRT Approved Biosecurity Treatments; and
2. Mandatory fumigation of all lots of pea seed imported into New Zealand with phosphine or methyl bromide according to the specifications listed in the technical standard MPI-STD-ABTRT Approved Biosecurity Treatments.
