Lifting temporary ban on the importation of domestic and wild birds and their untreated by-product, day-old chicks, hatching eggs from Bulgaria, and the temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat and table eggs from Dobrich in Bulgaria

The United Arab Emirates is lifting the ban on the importation of domestic and wild birds and their untreated by-product, day-old chicks, hatching eggs from Bulgaria, and the temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat and table eggs from Dobrich in Bulgaria on 3 September 2018 .This follows the publishing of the Final report (Follow-up report No. 5) of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in Bulgaria on 17 August 2018, and in compliance with Article 10.4.4, Chapter 10.4 of the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code.
