United Arab Emirates is lifting the ban on the importation of domestic and wild birds and their untreated products including poultry meat, day-old chicks, hatching eggs and their by-products originating from Mexico. This follows the publishing of the Final report (Follow-up report No. 2) of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in Mexico on 27 December 2018, and in compliance with Article 10.4.4, Chapter 10.4 of the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code, Mexico is now free from Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza disease.
