Department of Agriculture Memorandum Order No. 37 Series of 2018 Temporary Ban on the Importation of Domestic and Wild Birds and their Products Including Poultry Meat, Day-Old Chicks, Eggs and Semen Originating from Bulgaria

The Order temporarirly bans the importation of domestic and wild birds and their products, including poultry meat, day-old chicks, eggs and semen, and suspends the processing and evaluation of the application and issuance of Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) import clearance for the aforementioned commodities. Stoppage and confiscation of all shipments of the said commodities into the country will be conducted by all DA Veterinary Quarantine Officers/Inspectors at all major ports.
