Lifting temporary ban on the importation of domestic and wild birds and their untreated by-product, day-old chicks, hatching eggs from Kelantan in Malaysia

The United Arab Emirates is lifting the temporary ban on the importation of domestic and wild birds and their untreated by-product, day-old chicks, hatching eggs from Malaysia, and the temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat and table eggs from Kelantan in Malaysia. This follows the publishing of the Final report (Follow-up report No. 4) of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in Malaysia on 27 July 2018, and in compliance with Article 10.4.4, Chapter 10.4 of the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code.
