Department of Agriculture Memorandum Order No. 3 Series of 2019, Temporary Ban on the Importation of Domestic and Wild Birds and their Products Including Poultry Meat, Day-Old Chicks, Eggs and Semen Originating from India

The Order bans the importation of domestic and wild birds and their products including poultry meat, day-old chicks, eggs and semen from India. It also suspends the processing, evaluation of the application and issuance of sanitary and phytosanitary import clearance for the said commodities. Likewise, all shipments into the country of the aforementioned goods, except those heat-treated, will be stopped and confiscated by all Veterinary Quarantine Officers/Inspectors at all major ports.
