Lifting temporary ban on the importation of domestic and wild birds and their untreated by-product, day-old chicks, hatching eggs, poultry meat and table eggs from Kuwait

The United Arab Emirates is lifting the ban on the importation of domestic and wild birds and their untreated by-product, day-old chicks, hatching eggs, poultry meat and table eggs from Kuwait, on 12 May 2019. This follows the publishing of the Final report (Follow-up report No. 1) of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in the State of Kuwait on 15 April 2019, and in compliance with Article 10.4.4, Chapter 10.4 of the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code.
