Lifting temporary ban on the importation of domestic and wild birds and their untreated by-product, day-old chicks, hatching eggs, poultry meat and table eggs from Bulgaria

The United Arab Emirates is lifting the ban on the importation of domestic and wild birds and their untreated by-product, day-old chicks, hatching eggs, poultry meat and table eggs from Bulgaria, on 24 September 2019. This follows the publishing of the Follow-up report No. 3 (Final report) of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in Bulgaria on 11 July 2019, and in compliance with Article 10.4.4, Chapter 10.4 of the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code.
