The notified Technical Regulation establishes the minimum quality requirements to be met by roasted coffee beans and ground roasted coffee for marketing.
It applies to all natural and legal persons engaged in the production, processing, importation, exportation and marketing of roasted coffee beans and ground roasted coffee for human consumption, in national territory.
It also applies to roasted coffee beans and ground roasted coffee to which flavouring has been added.
This Technical Regulation does not apply to coffee substitutes.
