Description
Following the notification published by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) on 10 February 2020 regarding the outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza virus (HPAI) in Germany, United Arab Emirates is applying a precautionary sanitary measure to prevent the risk of introducing HPAI virus through the imports of live birds and their products from Germany , which includes imposing a temporary ban on the importation of domestic and wild birds and their untreated by-products, day-old chicks and hatching eggs from Germany.
