On the basis of the official notification of the World Organization for Animal Health, the Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports outbreaks of nodular dermatitis registered in States of Orissa, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Khairbani, Betnoti, Bhandaripohari, Rajendrapur, Patalipur of the Republic of India. In this regard, since 19 December 2019, temporary restrictions have been introduced on the importation and transit through the territory of Kazakhstan of cattle and other animals susceptible to nodular dermatitis, as well as genetic material obtained from them; products derived from cattle and susceptible animals without proper treatment to destroy the nodular dermatitis virus; raw leather materials obtained from the slaughter of cattle and other susceptible animals; used equipment for the maintenance and transporting of cattle and other susceptible animals from States of Orissa, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Khairbani, Betnoti, Bhandaripohari, Rajendrapur, Patalipur of the Republic of India.
