The Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan reports an outbreak of African swine fever in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russian Federation). In this regard, since 11 January 2021, temporary restrictions have been introduced on the importation into the territory of Kazakhstan from the Republic of Tatarstan (Russian Federation), as well as transit from this territory through the territory of Kazakhstan of live pigs, boar sperm, pork and wild boar meat, their genetic material, pig products (not heat-treated at not less than 70°C and higher in the thickness of the product for 30 minutes, guaranteeing the neutralizing of African swine fever virus), including slaughter products of wild boars, horned hoofed, leather and intestinal raw materials, bristles, pig feed that have not undergone a similar heat treatment, hunting trophies that have not undergone full taxidermy treatment, used equipment for keeping, slaughter and cutting of pigs.
