Mise en œuvre d'un nouveau format avec utilisation du papier A4 normal pour l'émission de certificats phytosanitaires pour l'exportation ou la réexportation (Implementation of a new format through the use of normal A4 paper for the issuance of phytosanitary certificates for export and re-export)

As from 1 June 2021, the French National Plant Protection Organization (Directorate-General for Food) will progressively cease the use of the original secure paper version of the phytosanitary certificates for export and re-export. The phytosanitary certificates will be printed exclusively on normal A4 paper as from 1 January 2022.
These provisions are without prejudice to the development of electronic phytosanitary certification.
The following information will be included on phytosanitary certificates printed on normal A4 paper:
1. Box 2 on the top right of the certificate will contain a local reference number (N°) followed below by a certificate number (Integrated Management System for Official Controls, IMSOC reference).
2. To the right of the two aforementioned numbers in Box 2 of the certificate, there will be a QR code, which will serve as as a security and authentication tool.
3. The certificate number or "IMSOC reference" must be used for all communication concerning the phytosanitary certificate issued.
4. The certificate number or "IMSOC reference" must have the following format: "PHYTO.FR.AAAA.XXXXXXX".
