The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance introduced a temporary restriction on imports of live bovine animals from Viet Nam to the territory of the Russian Federation and their transit through the Russian territory due to the outbreak of lumpy skin disease in Viet Nam.

The Federal Service for the Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance introduced a temporary restriction on import of products mentioned in item 3 from Mauritius to the territory of the Russian Federation and transit of live animals susceptible to FMD through the territory of the Russian Federation originating from Mauritius due to the registration of outbreaks of FMD. A temporary restriction is imposed on: - live animals susceptible to FMD; - genetic material (except selected in vivo in accordance with the provisions of Article 8.8.17 of the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code); - raw meat and meat products, not heat-treated, that guarantees the destruction of the FMD virus (in accordance with the Article 8.8.31 of the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code); - milk and milk products, not heat-treated, that guarantees the destruction of the FMD virus (in accordance with the Article 8.8.35); - wool, hair, bristles, trophies, raw intestines, hides and skins, untreated by technology that guarantees the destruction of the FMD virus (in accordance with the Articles 8.8.32, 8.8.33, 8.8.34, 8.8.37, 8.8.38 of the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code).

The draft provides for the quarantine phytosanitary requirements for mushroom spawn.

The draft provides for few changes in the use of electronic form of commercial, transport (shipping) documents and phytosanitary certificates by the competent authorities within the framework of quarantine phytosanitary control (supervision), as well  as in conveying the results of quarantine phytosanitary control (supervision) in electronic form via information systems of the competent authorities.

The draft amends the form of a veterinary health certificate No. 28 for milk and dairy products exported to the customs territory of the EAEU and provides for the use of this veterinary certificate for goods made from milk in which animal fat is replaced by vegetable fat by more than 50%.
