The notified text incorporates new pests into the phytosanitary requirements governing the importation of grains for consumption, produced by the plant species referred to in section 3, from countries where these pests are present.
Lymantria dispar is a quarantine pest not found in Argentina. The risk analysis identified maritime transport vessels as Lymantria dispar asiatica's and Lymantria dispar japonica's main possible pathway of introduction into Argentina. The vessels must be covered by a certificate declaring them free from the Asian or Japanese gypsy moth. The certificate must be issued by the country's phytosanitary authority (or an institution under its control) and correspond to the vessel's last port of stay or departure located in an area where the pests are present.
The notified draft Resolution establishes ISA-related sanitary requirements for the entry of fresh (chilled and frozen) products from aquatic animals susceptible to ISA from Chile into the zone of Argentina declared free from ISA.
The notified text provides for the inclusion of the pests Columnea latent viroid, Pepper chat fruit viroid, Tomato apical stunt viroid, Xanthomonas euvesicatoria pv. perforans, Xanthomonas cynarae pv. gardneri and Xanthomonas euvesicatoria pv. euvesicatoria on the list of regulated pests and phytosanitary requirements governing the importation of Capsicum annuum and Solanum lycopersicum seeds for propagation from countries in which the pest is present.
The notified text establishes phytosanitary requirements for the importation of pistachio (Pistacia atlantica X Pistacia integerrima) plants from Spain on the basis of a pest risk analysis.
Phytosanitary requirements have been established for the importation into the Argentine Republic of mung bean (Vigna radiata and Vigna mungo) and broad bean (Vicia faba) seed for propagation, from Australia.
Please be advised that the pest Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum has been incorporated into the phytosanitary requirements governing the importation of propagation material (seeds) of host species (Apium graveolens, Daucus carota, Foeniculum vulgare, Foeniculum vulgare var. azoricum, Foeniculum vulgare var. dulce, Foeniculum vulgare var. capillaceum and Petroselinum crispum) originating in countries where the pest is present. Given the detection of the pest in other host species in countries where it is present, the pest will be incorporated into the phytosanitary requirements.

The notified text establishes phytosanitary requirements for the importation into the Argentine Republic of pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum) seeds for propagation from Brazil. The national plant protection organization (NPPO) of the exporting country is to issue a phytosanitary certificate containing the following additional declaration: "The consignment has been inspected and is free from Corcyra cephalonica. The consignment has been officially inspected during the growth period, at the appropriate time for detecting pests and is free from…, OR, The results of official laboratory analysis No. (...) / dated (...) show the consignment to be free from Eragrostis plana."

The following additional declaration has been added to the phytosanitary requirements for plant propagation material and seeds of the species Solanum lycopersicum and Capsicum annuum for countries where Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) is present: "The consignment was found free of Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV), as per the results of official laboratory analysis No. (...) / Date (...)".
