The notified resolution states that the Executive Director of the State Phytosanitary Service decides: Article 1.- To repeal Resolution DSFE-004-2022, of 18 May 2022, and, consequently, Resolutions DSFE-002-2018 and DSFE-003-2018, both of 29 January 2018, and Resolution No. 024-2021-NR-ARP-SFE. Article 2.- To maintain the phytosanitary measures, in force under the "PRA Request System" of the State Phytosanitary Service, for fresh avocado fruit (Persea americana G/SPS/N/CRI/340 - 2 - Mill) for consumption, established pursuant to Resolutions DSFE-004-2022, DSFE-002-2018, DSFE-003-2018, and No. 024-2021-NR-ARP-SFE, under the terms set out below: 2.1 For products originating in Mexico: (1151) Shipments require an official phytosanitary certificate issued by the country of origin, which indicates, in the section for additional declarations, that the fruit is free from Conotrachelus aguacatae and Heilipus lauri. (9999) General requirements for products to be consumed fresh: They must be properly packaged and labelled, and be free from plant residues, soil, snails and slugs. An import permit (phytosanitary requirements form) must be obtained prior to importation. 2.2 For products originating in Peru, Honduras and Guatemala: (39) Shipments require an official phytosanitary certificate issued by the country of origin. (9999) General requirements for products to be consumed fresh: They must be properly packaged and labelled, and be free from plant residues, soil, snails and slugs. An import permit (phytosanitary requirements form) must be obtained prior to importation. 2.3 For products originating in the United States of America, state of Florida: (84) Shipments require an official phytosanitary certificate issued by the country of origin, which indicates, in the section for additional declarations, that the products come from areas free from Bactrocera dorsalis. It must also indicate that the shipment is free from Ceroplastes destructor, Ceroplastes rusci and Heilipus apiatus (9999) General requirements for products to be consumed fresh: They must be properly packaged and labelled, and be free from plant residues, soil, snails and slugs. An import permit (phytosanitary requirements form) must be obtained prior to importation. 2.4 For products originating in the United States of America, state of California: (88) Shipments require an official phytosanitary certificate issued by the country of origin, which indicates, in the section for additional declarations, that the fruit come from an area free from Bactrocera dorsalis, and is free from Scirtothrips perseae. The Animal Quarantine Directorate continued to monitor the emergence of new cases of foot and mouth disease (FMD), in the light of the events reported in the cities of Mosonmagyaróvár and Csorna, in the county of Győr-Moson-Sopron.2. Chapter 8.8 "Infection with Foot and Mouth Disease Virus" of the WOAH Terrestrial Animal Health Code establishes the conditions for restoring the health status concerning FMD.3. The Delegate of Hungary submitted a request to the WOAH for the restoration of its status as a country free from FMD where vaccination is not practised, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the WOAH Terrestrial Animal Health Code (Terrestrial Code).
