The Normative Instruction number 28, 26 July 2018, which adopted the draft Normative Instruction number 457, 28 December 2017 – previously notified through G/SPS/N/BRA/1350 – which establishes the lists of nutrients, bioactive substances, enzymes and probiotics, limits of use, claims and supplementary labelling of food supplements, was rectified. This Draft Resolution includes the active ingredient I29 - ISOFETAMIDA (Isofetamid) in the Relation of Monographies of Active Ingredients of Pesticides, Household Cleaning Products and Wood Preservers.

The Draft Resolution number 707, 13 September 2020 - previously notified through G/SPS/N/BRA/1566 - which establishes nutrition labelling for packaged food, was adopted as Resolution - RDC number 429, 8 October 2020.  This resolution will be also notified to the TBT committee. This Draft resolution incorporates the following changes for the active ingredient I13 - IMIDACLOPRIDO (imidacloprid) from the Relation of Monographies of Active Ingredients of Pesticides, Household Cleaning Products and Wood Preservers, all in the modality of foliar use (application): -includes the rye, millet, and triticale cultures with MRL of 0,5 mg/kg and safety security period of 30 days; -changes the MRL of the oat and barley cultures from 0,05 to 0,5 mg/kg; -changes the MRL of the sorghum culture from 0,1 to 0,5 mg/kg; -includes the phrase: "Acute Reference Dose (ARfD): 0.4 mg/kg b.w. (source: JMPR, 2001).
