This Draft African Standard sets out the general principles and good humane practices and minimum requirements in the rearing of sheep for dairy use.

This Draft African Standard specifies minimum requirements for cage-free egg producing poultry (chickens, ducks, emus, geese, guinea fowl, ostriches, partridges, pheasants and pigeons). This draft standard includes guidelines on housing and environmental requirements, farm management practices and handling of birds in cage-free production systems.

This  Draft African Standard provides general principles of good humane practice and minimum requirements in the commercial or backyard rearing/ of beef cattle for food use.

This Draft African Standard specifies minimum requirements on good agricultural practices for the welfare and housing of turkeys, covering the components of feed, water, animal health, product management, environment, and record keeping for production of wholesome meat suitable for human consumption.

This Draft African Standard specifies requirements for live grading of rabbits, guinea pigs and all other small mammals.
