This Draft African Standard provides welfare management of dairy cattle of all ages in the farm (bull calves, heifers, dry cows, lactating cows, and bulls) production systems include a rearing, housing, good nutrition, health care, suitable environment, pain control, and positive human-animal interactions intended for the sustainable and safe milk production.
