According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 21 May 2021, the suspension for importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Poland has expired on 19 August 2021. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in the area of Poland. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Poland is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 20 August 2021 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette (20 August 2021).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 21 May 2021, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from China has expired on 19 August 2021. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) (Serotypes H5N1 and H5N6) in the area of China. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of AI disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from China is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 20 August 2021 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette (20 August 2021), except the feathers and down of poultry that have been processed in the approved establishment by the DLD and these commoditiesthat have been processed to ensure the destruction of avian influenza virus recommended by the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code topics 10.4.22 and 10.4.23 which use one of the following methods: - washed and steam-dried at 100 ºC for 30 minutes; - fumigation with formalin (10% formaldehyde) for 8 hours; - irradiation with a dose of 20 kilogray.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 21 May 2021, the suspension for importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Bulgaria has expired on 19 August 2021. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in the area of Bulgaria. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Bulgaria is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days  since 20 August 2021 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette (20 August 2021).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 21 May 2021, the suspension for importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Viet Nam has expired on 19 August 2021. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in the area of Viet Nam. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Viet Nam is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days  since 20 August 2021 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette (20 August 2021).

Draft Thai Industrial Standard for Pineapple in Hermetically Sealed Containers (TIS 51-25XX(20XX,) previously notified in G/SPS/N/THA/268 dated 26 September 2019, was adopted and published in the Royal Gazette dated 19 July 2021 as Notification of the Ministry of Industry No. 5988 (2020) entitled "Thai Industrial Standard for Pineapple in Hermetically Sealed Containers (TIS 51-2562(2019))".This standard has been notified as TBT notification, G/TBT/N/THA/554/Add.1, dated 20 August 2021.Date of entry into force: This notification shall come into force after 180 days as from the day of its publication in the Royal Gazette (15 January 2022).Text available at:

By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from South Africa is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (20 July 2021).

By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Netherlands is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (20 July 2021).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 21 April 2021, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from the United Kingdom has expired on 20 July 2021. However, The OIE reported, Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Frodsham, Cheshire county of the United Kingdom. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Cheshire county of the United Kingdom is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (20 July 2021).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 21 April 2021, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Germany has expired on 20 July 2021. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in area of Germany. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Germany is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (20 July 2021).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 21 April 2021, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Denmark has expired on 20 July 2021. However, the OIE reported, Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in area of Denmark. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Denmark is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (20 July 2021).

Following The OIE has reported outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Fife county (Serotype H5N1) of United Kingdom, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Fife county of United Kingdom is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after date of publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (20 July 2021).

The information contained in Item 6 (Description of content) of document G/SPS/N/THA/420 should read as follows: According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 27 April 2021, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses in Gironde, Lot-et-Garonne and Gers departments of France has expired on 26 July 2021. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Gironde, Lot-et-Garonne and Gers departments of France. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Gironde, Lot-et-Garonne and  Gers departments of France is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days notified since 27 July 2021 onwards in the Thai Royal Gazette (9 July 2021).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 21 April 2021, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Indonesia has expired on 20 July 2021. However, the OIE reported, Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) is an endemic disease in Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Indonesia is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (20 July 2021).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 27 April 2021, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses in Gironde, Lot-et-Garonne and Gers departments of France has expired on 26 July 2021. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Gironde, Lot-et-Garonne and Gers departments of France. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from France is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days notified since 27 July 2021 onwards in the Thai Royal Gazette (9 July 2021).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 28 April 2021, the suspension for importation of lumpy skin disease in Myanmar has expired on 27 July 2021. However, Myanmar has not been self-declaration for the recovery of country freedom from lumpy skin disease according to the OIE report. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of lumpy skin disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of bovine and buffalo and their products under Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015) in Myanmar is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days notified since 28 July 2021 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette (9 July 2021).
