The DLD order on temporary suspension of importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from United Kingdom to prevent the spread of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (Serotype H5N1)

Following The OIE has reported outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Fife county (Serotype H5N1) of United Kingdom, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Fife county of United Kingdom is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after date of publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (20 July 2021).
