According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 14 September 2022, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from France has expired on 13 December 2022. However, the WOAH reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the area of France. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Vendée, Deux-Sèvres, Pas‑de‑Calais, Nord, Morbihan, Mayenne, Loiret, Indre-et-Loire, Finistère, Côtes-d'Armor, Tarn, Maine-et-Loire and Somme of France is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after the date of publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (26 December 2022).

Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza disease (HPAI) into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Békés of Hungary is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after the date of publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (26 December 2022).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 1 September 2022, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from the Philippines since 28 September 2022 has expired on 26 December 2022. However, the WOAH has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the area of the Philippines. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from the Philippines is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 27 December 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

However, the WOAH has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in the area of Germany. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Germany is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 16 December 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 15 August 2022, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Chinese Taipei since 15 August 2022 has expired on 12 November 2022. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) (Subtype H5N2) in the area of Chinese Taipei. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Chinese Taipei is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 13 November 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette. Except the feathers and down of poultry that have been processed in the approved establishment by the DLD and these commoditiesthat have been processed to ensure the destruction of avian influenza virus recommended by OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code topics 10.4.22 and 10.4.23 which use one of the following methods:-         washed and steam-dried at 100ºC for 30 minutes;-         fumigation with formalin (10% formaldehyde) for 8 hours;-         irradiation with a dose of 20 kilogray.

However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in the area of Viet Nam. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Viet Nam is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 13 November 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

The draft conditions for import of Cannabis and hemp seeds into Thailand, as previously notified in G/SPS/N/THA/559 dated 19 August 2022, was adopted and published in the Royal Gazette dated 28 October 2022.Date of entry into force: The day following the date of its publication in the Government Gazette (29 October 2022).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 8 August 2022, the suspension for importation of bovine and buffalo and their products from Malaysia since 9 August 2022, has expired on 6 November 2022. However, the WOAH has reported a continued outbreak of lumpy skin disease into the country in the area of Malaysia. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of lumpy skin disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of bovine and buffalo and their products from Malaysia is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 7 November 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 8 August 2022, the suspension for importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from India since 10 August 2022,has expired on 7 November 2022. However, the WOAH has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in the area of India. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from India is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 8 November 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

The WOAH has reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in area of Belgium. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Belgium is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after date of publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (21 October 2022).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 11 July 2022, the suspension for importation of bovine and buffalo and their products from has expired on 25 October 2022. However, the WOAH has reported a continued outbreak of lumpy skin disease into the country in area of Cambodia. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of lumpy skin disease into the country.  By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of bovine and buffalo and their products from Cambodia is temporarily suspended for a period of  90 days since 26 October 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 11 July 2022, the suspension for importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Italy has expired on 28 October 2022. However, the WOAH has reported   a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in area of Italy. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country.  By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Italy is temporarily suspended for a period of  90 days since 28 October 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 11 July 2022, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Indonesia has expired on 13 October 2022. However, the WOAH has reported, Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) is an endemic disease in Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Indonesia is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 14 October 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.
