The DLD order on temporary suspension of importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Hungary to prevent the spread of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (Subtype H5N1)

The WOAH reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Békés of Hungary. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza disease (HPAI) into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Békés of Hungary is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after the date of publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (26 December 2022).
