Morphological Features

Body dorsally glabrous or nearly so. Pronotum abruptly deflexed slightly right of the meson; lateroventrally visible portion of prothorax, from point of deflection to base of leg, densely and coarsely punctate, sculptured like pronotal dorsum. Hypomeron nearly glabrous and impunctate on left side, but entirely absent on right side. Elytra covered with short setae, sparse and inconspicuous in some species.
