Morphological Features

Imago-worker left mandible with third marginal tooth (LMt3) well developed; right mandible with posterior margin of second marginal tooth (RMt2) long and straight, anterior margin convex or straight, posterior margin concave. RMt2 distinctly present with concave posterior margin. Left mandible with apical tooth shorter than marginal teeth. Soldier head subquadrangular with fontanelle located in a small depression, with two flat longitudinal ridges in front of the opening on each side forming a faint groove-like structure leading to the base of the clypeus. Soldier head devoid of frontal projection. Soldier mandibles katana-shaped, devoid of marginal teeth but with basal serrations. Fontanelle surrounded by setae.
