Morphological Features
Adult female body rather flat, oval, often somewhat pointed at both ends. Dorsal derm with radial lines extending mesad from the margin. Marginal setae strongly spinose and pointed, subequal to or longer than stigmatic setae. Stigmatic setae spinose, usually with one on posterior margin of cleft and one on anterior margin. Anal plates each with a rounded outer margin and 4 small setae near apex. A group of ventral tubular ducts present on either side of the genital opening. Tibia and tarsus fused, without segmentation.
