RNA-Seq of Tetrix japonica: adult female whole-body

This submission includes RNA-Seq data from whole-body samples of adult female Tetrix japonica, a species of grasshopper. The samples were collected in the field and immediately stored at -80C to preserve RNA integrity. Total RNA was extracted using a commercial RNA isolation kit, followed by DNase treatment to remove genomic DNA contamination. RNA quality was assessed using a bioanalyzer. Libraries for sequencing were prepared using a stranded mRNA library preparation kit, which includes fragmentation, end-repair, and adapter ligation steps. The libraries were then sequenced on an Illumina NovaSeq 2000 platform with paired-end 150 bp reads.
